TANDULWADI
Tandulwadi Fort is a hill fort good for outing. We get a great view of the
Vaitarna River. The route goes over some rocky portions, and is a little tricky
if wet. On the top are a few water tanks and a monsoon lake.
Programme
Leave for Safale by jeep / bus (6:00 a.m). Arrive Tandulwadi village by 9:00
a.m. upon arrival proceed on the trail to Tandulwadi Fort. After rest continue
on the trail. Arrive at the fort by 11.30 p.m. After spending some time,
exploring the fort and lunch descend to Tandulwadi village. Arrive at the base
by 4:30 p.m. Depart for Mumbai by jeep /bus. Arrive Mumbai by 7.30 p.m.
