Malshej Ghat

Malshej Ghat is an ideal place for trekkers, hikers and for solitude seekers. It is also an abode for the famous migratory flamingoes during the monsoon. It is one of the old trade routes connecting Thitbi in the Konkan to Khubi on the ghats. The approach is easy with the road passing from Kalyan, Murbad and Moroshi, up to the Malshej ghat to Khubi and Otur on the Deccan plateau.

Programme

Leave for Malshej Ghat by jeep / bus (6.00 a.m) from Dadar. Arrive at Malshej Ghat by 10.00 a.m. hot breakfast enrooted. After spending some time under the waterfalls along the road side and after exploring near by area of Malshej Ghat we all proceed to enjoy hot lunch by 1.30 pm, after rest depart for Mumbai by 4.00 p.m. Arrive at Mumbai by 7.00 p.m.
