Duke’s Nose or Nagphani

As the train climbs up from Karjat to Khandala, one can see two rather prominent projections on the western side. They appear challenging and are the chief landmarks of the Bhor ghat. They are know as Duke’s Nose and the Duchess’s Nose or also called as Nagphani. One can reach on top of Nose with in one and a half hours. There is a small temple on the top.

Programme

Day 1

Depart from Dadar at 2:00 p.m. by jeep / bus. Arrive Khandala by 4.00 p.m. Transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 2

After breakfast proceed on the trail to Duke’s Nose. Return back to hotel for lunch. After lunch and rest depart for Mumbai by 4.00 p.m. Arrive Mumbai around 6.00 p.m.
