The Camp started from Vasai via Mumbai picking up the participants on the way. There were 18 participants. The youngest one being 7 year old. We checked in at REDSTONE FARM run by Mona Patrao. Accommodation was in tents and rooms. Home cooked food, clean and hygienic surrounding, well equipped library, beautiful weather, experience and friendly coordinators.

A windmill was not only showing us the wind direction and strength but was also acting as a hand pump drawing water from the well. The parabolic solar cooker was heating up the water. Bio gas plant was taking care of our hot water bath and cooking. The lights in the tent were getting power from the batteries which were charged by bicycle. Solar energy was captured too to light up the camping site during the nights. There were sessions for the children on alternate energy, survival in modern world, self reliance etc.

Aviation is a subject close to our heart. There was a workshop on aviation followed by rides in a parasail, hot air balloon and zero gravity helium balloon.
