Site Location: KUMBHARPADA village in Virar east, 5 kilometers from Virar station.

Take-Off: Small area for takeoff.

Landing Area: Open ground for landing can be reached with some planning. . One has to cross a road to reach landing area. Tricky areas to land for pilots who cannot plan their landings.

Flying Season: All round the year except monsoons.

Description: The site provides a huge area for ground handling practice and small hops. There is a huge tree which provides shade for resting. Excellent soaring in West North West wind direction. Experienced pilots can easily soar for hours.  Climbing the hill for takeoff is easy. More than 5 pilots can soar at a time.
